Subtask 5.2.5 Special Conference Sessions and Journal Issues
We will further amplify the research efforts and education on e-waste reduction by organising Special Sessions at conferences on materials, electronics, sensors and related fields. This will enhance the exchange of knowledge in this field on an international level. Expecting successful outcomes of these special sessions, we will strive for a continuation of these topics as regular sessions in the future. Thereby we will help addressing the fast-growing need for a dedicated and focused event, where experts can share their newest findings, foster new collaborations and create the ideas that will shape the future of sustainable electronics. CEA and most academic partners will be involved in the subtask. Also some industrial partners will contribute.Availability and maintenance of education resources All education contents and materials produced throughout the project will be made available free of charge to the electronic community through the web site of EECONE project (see Task 5.3). The website will remain available when the EECONE project end for at least 3 years, and it will stay as an essential contribution to educating the large community of electronics engineers.
