Task 5.1: Survey, mapping of eco-design/circularity best practice/expertise - needs - Economic transformation

The main objectives of this task are i) to identify the multiple actors involved and operating in the eco- design/circularity in electronics, ii) to explore the potential needs and offers among a vast range of actors – from the business to the education sectors and to the civil society context, iii) to identify and list know how, knowledge, and techniques related to the field, iv) to explore the business models and opportunities as well as the economic transformation. The figure below provides an overview of the surveys that will be organised in task 5.

Since circularity in electronics is a quite new R&D topic, we are facing many initiatives, know-how, best practice, understanding etc... and it is very interesting to collect and analyse all these topics. In addition to map and produce a complete state of the art in the field, the various surveys that we are planning to implement will be useful for the technical developments, in WP2/3 and 4. For example, the collected knowledge will be useful for partners who look for contacts, supports, or knowhow in specific practices. It will be the case for the technical development but also the education et dissemination. Also, surveys are useful to take into account the human and professional response to any of the circular scenario promoted in the project. It is well known how today s techniques cannot be evelopment without taking into consideration the human resources, human responses etc...
